About
Teaching infants is more than feeding, napping, and changing. Teaching infants is about creating a foundation for learning. We are able to support you in making sure your child continues their development, while also honoring that every child is different, and grows at their own pace. We monitor development through the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and Highscopes Key Development Indicators. Childcare is so important for infants in helping them grow, and we use these tools to monitor their social-emotional, gross motor, fine motor, language and self help skills. Infants are constantly learning. Their brains are growing and setting the foundation for when they are older. We use child led teaching practices, art and sensory materials, natural materials, and real everyday objects as toys. These items help their brains flourish so when they are toddlers and preschoolers, they have a large cornerstone for their education journey.
